L'ORIGNAL FAMILY LAWYER, L'ORIGNAL CRIMINAL LAWYER, L'ORIGNAL CIVIL LITIGATION LAWYER

L'Orignal Courthouses Setup

Although they confusingly all have different addresses, in L'Orignal the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, and Provincial Offences Court are all located in the same building (together with the municipal county offices) comprised of a hodgepodge of additions that appear to have transpired over many decades. Central hallways don't connect every office and courtroom, so you may have to walk up and down some stairs and ask for directions if you get lost, which is easy to do. It all has a certain quaintness despite the confusion.

1. L'Orignal Superior Court of Justice

The L'Original Superior Court of Justice civil, criminal, family and small claims devisions are all located on the second floor of 59 court street.  (which hears serious criminal matters, all family matters, and all civil matters including small claims).

L'Orignal Courthouse Directions & Parking

From Highway 17 if travelling East from Ottawa turn left onto Longueil St., right onto John St. and left onto Queen St. to Courthouse. From Highway 17 if travelling West from Hawkesbury turn right onto John St. and right onto Queen St. to Courthouse.

L'Original Courthouse Hours & Setup

Courthouse hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are multiple entry doors and a confusing layout of corridors, offices and courtrooms. One courtroom is located on the second floor, and a motions room where hearing occur is located down some steps on the same floor.

A very small Barrister's lounge is located near the second floor courtroom.

2. L'Orignal Ontario Court of Justice

Effectively the same setup as the Superior Court above, except the courtroom is located on the first floor.

A law library is located on the ground floor.

3. L'Orignal Provincial Offences Court

Again effectively the same building, though it has a separate office and courtroom.
